Could be dangerous: A person with an "intense headache" with flu-like symptoms sounds worrisome because he could have the real flu or could have a type of meningitis. A doctor's evaluation is needed to decide on treatment. Chest pain is always worrisome because it could be heart pain in some people. Testing to rule out heart pain can be done at an E.R. Or at properly equipped doctors' offices.
