It isn't but...: That is not the issue if had congenital hypothyroidism , it wasn't working the, nor is it working now but treated correctly as thyroid hormone, synthroid (thyroxine). But if your not feeling well, you need blood tests to see if current dose is correct (it might be a touch too much at age 59); if correct dose, or still feel bad after dose adjusted by md, then must look for other causes of your symptoms!
