It is becoming more common for me to have a really itchy sensation on my left ear and also sometimes my left tonsil, what could this be?

Allergy or dry skin: Your ears can itch due to dry skin or an allergic reaction. Your ears and your throat share sensory nerve supply. Therefore, sensations in your throat can be referred to your ear and vice versa.
