Not sure what the: Heel lift was for, but that certainly could alter the way your muscles function, especially when running. Of course, it could also be coincidence and you have a knee problem. An orthopedist would be the person to see about this. Until you know what's wrong, don't run. You could do further damage.

The issue is : Likely biomechanical. You should see an orthopedist. It is possible the lift you were prescribed in too high or too low....
