Maybe: Shin splints are a definite possibility. Most nurses that i know spend a tremendous amount of time on their feet. Other consideration includes stress fracture. This would typically be more point tenderness. Compression socks, arch supports and a good stretching routine can help shin splints. There are also topical anti-inflammatories in addition to icing. Pain persists- see your doctor.
