Torticollis: If this is an acute problem and you are otherwise well with no associated swollen masses, you probably have a spasm of your sterno-cleido-mastoid muscle. Sometimes called wry-neck, the medical term is torticollis. Ice, massage, then heat and Ibuprofen can help. It takes about a week. If it's not improving, get checked.
