What to do if the gums are went down due to tartar and feeling a little sensitivity at the bottom visible part of teeth if touched by tongue .?

Ouch!: Sensitivity after having your teeth cleaned of lots of tartar at the gumline is not unusual. Try one of the over the counter toothpaste for sensitive teeth for several weeks and it should improve. Check back with your dentist if no improvements after 2 weeks.

Periodontist : This is a sign of periodontal disease your gums are receding. Depending upon the amount of recession you might need surgery to cover these areas. It is best to see you dentist to see if you need to see a periodontist.
