Discuss with doctor: It's doubtful that you'd be considered a transplant candidate. This is a problem that requires a face-to-face, real-time visit with your doctor. This allows a thorough evaluation of you as well as an effective treatment plan.

May be: Depends on type of cancer, location, size and number of lesions. If stage 4 is from another site ( like colon cancer) then transplant is not an option. U need to discuss with ur oncologist.

Possible, but,,,: Liver transplant is a possible option, but has been rarely successful. This has been done for patients, but the cancer may recur, even at earlier stages, so it must have spread already, and at stage iv, it is very likely to have spread. Having said this, there have been great strides made in the transplant and chemotherapy fields, and so it is something to consider. See your dr. For more info..

no: Stage 4 liver cancer means that a cancer which started in the liver has spread outside the liver to a distant site. It indicates that the cancer has reached a point where it has invaded the bloodstream, and even if the distant tumor is removed others will follow. A new liver doesn't have the potential to cure the cancer, and transplant is far to complex to be considered as a palliative procedure.
