A member asked:

I have been told i'm intolerant to yeast & that its 'eating away' at my gut and that i should have a strong pre/pro biotic to help it?

Theory: The concept of yeast intolerance is one which has had adherents for years, often without any factual evidence to support the theory. Probiotics are not harmful in any way, but you can achieve the same results from eating non-pasteurized yogurt, which is much tastier. My philosophy is that if it will not harm anything but your wallet and you are willing to do this, please go ahead.
