Sounds serious: Could be a blood clot or fracture or just bad arthritis ; highly rec that you go have it looked at.

Hip arthritis.: May people say they have hip pain when they really have back pain. If your pain is in the groin and radiates down the front of the thigh, it is likely your hip. You need to see your doctor and obtain appropriate x rays.
