Yes: It only becomes a problem if it goes into the uterus and scars the tubes shut. If its been a long time you may consider asking your doctor for a test of tubal patency, hysterosalpingogram.

Chlamydia: Although this infection may result in blockage of the fallopian tubes through which your eggs reach the lining of the uterus and this can cause infertility, it is by no means invariable and can also sometimes be reversed if you are shown to be sterile. Would keep trying to become pregnant and if unsuccessful, seek out a gynecologist who specializes in infertility evaluations.
