More information: Newer findings suggest that our old thinking of high good cholesterol (HDL) will offset high bad cholesterol (ldl) was probably wrong. You should think of the LDL and HDL separately and since your HDL is normal, i would focus on your LDL which for the average person with no cardiac risk factors should be <130.
