Stop eating meat?: Couldn't be more simple. Vegetarian diet is associated with lower incidence of obesity, heart disease, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes, but specific effects of diet versus associated lifestyle are hard to sort out. There may be some marginal benefit to being a vegetarian.
