Depends: Diet does not affect the course of condition (nephrotic syndrome) by "minimal change lesion." however, if nephrotic syndrome is caused by other pathology, e.g., focal segmental glomerulosclerosis , limitation of protein intake would be advised. Consult with your nephrologist.
