Losing weight helps: Besides some of the general health benefits of wt loss, this may directly affect your fertility. Excess wt carries excess hormones that can interfere with the body's normal hormonal function and prevent you from ovulating. If you can't ovulate, you can't get pregnant. Even sometimes as little as 10 less lbs can make the difference. Talk to an ob/gyn to see if other testing is recommended too.
