2 different things: Grave's disease is overactive thyroid: this is either treated with suppressive medication or surgery. Claustrophobia is a psychiatric condition that is panic and anxiety out of control. True, thyroid can contribute to anxiety, but the priority would be to fix the thyroid. In the meantime, the benzodiazepines might be a quick fix for the claustrophobia (along with some talk therapy for skills).
