Yes this is too much: My advice .. See you ob/gyn asap. You need to control your blood sugar and your weight or it may affect your unborn baby, make you pregnancy more difficult and the delivery harder. You newborn may also become hypo-glycemic after birth. See you OB tomorrow if possible.

See a doctor now: Anyone with type 1 diabetes even considering getting pregnant should see a physician as soon as possible. It is critical that you get your blood sugar into as normal a range as possible so that your baby can be born healthy and without birth defects related to the exposure to the abnormal blood sugars that often accompany diabetes. Generally during the first few weeks of pregnancy women do not experience much if any weight gain.
