A member asked:

Why is it that you sometimes get reflux pains after eating oranges, but other times you can eat oranges without any problems afterwards?

Reflux & oranges: The acidity of oranges/oj can trigger reflux, especially on an empty stomach or at the end of a large meal. If eaten with other foods (non triggers), those foods may buffer the acid & prevent reflux.
