Probably not: One episode of pain with abnormal bleeding 6years ago at age 22 is probably nothing to worry about. Irregular periods, painful periods, pain in mid to late cycle, and painful intercouse, are some of the symptoms of endometriosis.

Not likely: Endometriosis is a chronic condition, causing painful menses usually from the onset of menstruation and sometimes chronic pain and pain with sex. Isolated pain as you describe can happen at mid-cycle with ovulation, and be accompanied by a brown discharge. Some people get this "mittelschmerz (midcylce pain in german) every month.
