What is the definition or description of: liver surgery?

See below: Liver surgery is, simply put, surgery on liver tissue. It's is usually done for tumor or cyst in liver. It can be done via open ( large incision), laparoscopic (small cuts) or recently with robot (da vinci ). Liver consists of many segments and any one if them can b removed depending on type and location of tumor.
