Time heals: As with any surgery there will be a short period of normal post operative pain. Take the prescribed medicines and follow the instructions and the pain will soon resolve.

Physical therapy: Depending on the type of incision used for the surgery, patients can struggle with persistent pain posoperatively. If you have not had any complications from the procedure itself and you are more than 4 weeks out, i would recommend physical therapy focused on stretching the core muscles.
