What is the definition or description of: cervix biopsy?

Cervical biopsy: A cervical biopsy is a small bit of tissue pinched off the cervix with an instrument (usually in the office). It is then sent to a pathologist to be prepared and looked at under the microscope to see if any abnormalities are present.
