Fish Allergy: Fish allergy is a reaction certain people get from eating certain fish. Pollock, salmon, cod, tuna, snapper, eel, and tilapia are among the fish that commonly trigger it. It is linked to an increased risk of severe asthma, oral allergy syndrome (in which the mouth itches or tingles after eating an allergen) or anaphylaxis, severe swelling and life threatening cardiac and gastrointestinal symptoms.
