Fish allergy: This typically refers to finned fish. The most common allergen is parvalbumin which is in variable amounts. While there is much cross reactivity with allergy tests, there is variability inf true allergic reactions with open challenge. Fish is in the top 8 most common food allergens and usually long lasting. See my blog at: http://www.Familyallergyasthmacare.Com/2013/11/fish-allergy/.
