Not abnormal: Stretching of the uterus has been known to cause cramps. This is sometimes referred to as "growing pains".

No: The cramping may be from your ovaries being hyperstimulated after the egg retrieval. The ovaries can be three to four times normal size and that will feel like cramping as your abdominal cavity is large and bloated.
