My 9 month old hasn't been eating like he usually does. he also isn't wetting as much. but he has serious diarrhea. is he getting dehydrated? what do i do?

Appears dehydrated: Infants can get dehydrated very quickly, especially with diarrhea. If he is not wetting very much, that is certainly a sign. You need to call your pediatrician.

Call doc: Hydrate well and call your pediatrician.The diarrhea says probable infection.

Diarrhea: If your son is also vomiting, take him to his pediatrician or to the ed because he is dehydrated and may need IV fluids. If he's just mildly dehydrated, you should urge him to drink fluids like pedialyte.
