Yes: Some thinning of the hair is not uncommon in the first couples this after surgery. But as long as you continue your vitamins and recommended protein it will grow back and continue to keep growing.

Yes. Slower at 1st: After a sleeve or bypass, your hair will grow slower while you are losing the most weight in the beginning. This doesn't kill the hair follicle, it just redirects nutrients. Use biotin, zinc, and rogaine (minoxidil) to minimize the effect. The hair will return once weight stabilizes.
