Depends on…: The disease. Sexually transmitted infections are passed from one person to another; they do not arise spontaneously in an individual. Respiratory infections may develop in a person or may be transmitted from others already infected. Some diseases are carried by insects & transmitted by their bite/sting. If u have an infection, consult with your fp for evaluation & treatment.
