A member asked:

My cmp blood test says my albumin level is 5.8 g/dl (says normal range is 3.6-5.1) what does this mean? should i be concerned and get second opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: The only cause of increased Albumin is dehydration; there is no naturally occurring hyperalbuminemia.
