Probably.: Values for HCG vary by weeks of pregnancy (defined as completed weeks beginning with the start of the last menstruation phase). In general, at 3 weeks gestation, HCG values in normal pregnancies vary between 6 and 72 miu/ml. I would suggest waiting to measure the quantitative HCG again until you are at least 5 week pregnant, at which time the value should be between 220 and 7000 miu/ml.
