I had a partial thyroidectomy 3 days ago in a lot of pain my gp told me to double the dose of codeine to 120mg every 4 hrs, is that ok?

Pain where?: If in the neck see a thyroidologist. If just any other pain for which you were given Codeine you can take it whether or not you are taking thyroid medication.
