Several: Symptoms may be subtle at first such as night time reflux. Patients may also experience nausea and vomiting that occurs more frequently along with reflux through out the day. Patients may also gravitate to softer more liquid foods due to intolerance to solids. Freq vomiting may lead to a slippage. To tight of a band will give similar symptoms. Get it checked, if concerned, with a barium swallow.

Slippage: Lap band slippage might be asymptomatic or associated with epigastric pain, heartburn and weight gain. These symptoms are also not specific therefore i advise you address these symptoms with your bariatric surgeon. An esophagogram might be needed to assess the band position.
