Depends: It depends on how long it has been since surgery, how long you have had these symptoms, how severe they are. If they are severe, worsening/not improving, associated with weak muscles or trouble walking, contact your spine doctor for a consultation.

Only if the symptoms: Really affect you. If so, you need to see your surgeon & assess if you are still in the healing stage postop & if not, then a further workup is warranted in terms of: physical exam, further imaging like x-ray, ct &/or MRI with contrast as well as possibly nerve testing with emg/ncv. Medication may help such as Gabapentin or Cymbalta (duloxetine) but discuss this with your surgeon as well
