Bleed w/antibiotics: Antibiotics may have disturbed the bacterial flora that normally live in his gut, resulting in altered stooling. In this circumstance, on occasion, an opportunistic bacteria, c.Difficile, can infect the colon. Its best to mention his symptoms to the treating doctor--he may want stool, bloodwork, & to examine your son. Bleeding may be from a fissure or much more--never ignore GI bleeding please.
