Not usually: I would not expect this finding with alcohol after xanex. Go see an eye doctor for further evaluation.

Sure: Xanax (alprazolam) has a 1/2 lfe of 11.2 hours on average, so 8 hours after taking it, not even 1/2 has been removed from the body and this would be more prnounced if you are taking it regularly. One should never drink alcohol while taking any sedative such as xanax, (alprazolam) valium, ativan, etc.
