Lesser of 2 evils.: Not that I'm a great fan of Xanax (alprazolam) because of it's addictive potential, but in the grand scheme of things I'd probably advise you to not play with your medications like that. If you're on Xanax (alprazolam) that regularly, you just shouldn't drink alcohol. Sorry.

Major risk of: withdrawal seizure with missing even one dose of Xanax (alprazolam). Also Prozac lowers the seizure threshold. I suggest you discuss this with your psychiatrist.

Not recommended: Drinking alcohol can increase certain side effects of Prozac and Xanax (alprazolam). You should always ask your doctor about your medicines. Good luck.
