A member asked:

Are pregnancy tests positive all through our pregnancy? when does the hook effect come into effect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be at 9-12 wk: Hook effect generally does not affect hpt. Hcg levels reach their peak at 9-12 weeks, and may interfere with the test, but by then other signs of pregnancy are present.
