Add condoms, etc..: When using birth control pills, if a pill is taken late or is missed completely, there is a slight increase in the ability to become pregnant. A small percentage of women do become pregnant even while on birth control pills. So, a women should add another form of contraception (such as condoms) while finishing the current pack of birth control pills.
