Throat infection: You sound like you have a throat infection which could be due to a virus or bacteria. The lumps on your neck are likely lymph nodes which get bigger when you are sick and sometimes the lymph nodes themselves can get infected. They become very large, red and very painful to touch. If this continues you should see your doctor to be evaluated for infection of your throat and possibly lymph nodes.

Stuck in Throat: Sounds like you are describing a case of pharyngitis (inflammation/infection of the throat), but more information is needed- when did symptoms start? How did they start? The lumps on both sides are likely enlarged lymph nodes. If you have difficulty breathing, or swallowing your own saliva, i would advise going the the er as this may indicate an advanced infection.
