Conjunctival growth: A pinguecula is a raised area of conjunctiva, either nasally or temporally, that is related to uv exposure. In most cases, this condition is managed conservatively, with topical lubricating drops and occasionally topical steroids. However, if the pinguecula is severe, then it can be surgically excised. There is a risk of recurrence, so surgery is uncommon.

Pinguecula: Pinguecula is a yellow, rubbery growth of the conjunctiva that be raised and may get irritated and red. They are typically nasal to the iris, but they can also be temporally located as well. If they grow larger, they may grow onto the cornea, now changing name to a pterygium.

Pinguecula: Sounds like a pinguecula, which is a deposit/build up on the white part of the eye (sclera) due to uv light and dryness of the eyes. You can use artificial tears, and use a cap and/or sunglasses when outdoors.
