Call 911 for help: If somebody gets seriously injured at work, witnesses can call 911 for the paramedics, and start first aid or CPR if they know how. If they do not know any first aid techniques, then they can keep the injured person company until the ambulance arrives. By staying on the phone with the 911 operator, witnesses can sometimes receive first aid instructions over the phone.
