More information: What was the nature of the injury, were X-rays done? What time of the day and what are you doing when the symptoms occur. Does anything make it better, such as a heating pad, lying down, any certain position? Do you have numbness/burning elsewhere in the body? Is there a rash? Numbness and burning pain suggests a neuropathy (damaged to nerves in the skin), possible nerve root injury. See doctor.
