Cervical region: A neck MRI will be done with the cervical spine being imaged. This will concentrate on the bones, nerves, discs and joints of the cervical spine. Due to the close proximity other soft tissues will be imaged including parts of the brain or organs like the thyroid. But it is not being dedicated to be looking at these other organs.
