Depends on what the : Pink eye really just means a red eye. It can be caused by allergies, viruses and bacterial. If both eyes are red then allergies are the more likely. If there is a lot of discharge and it looks fairly goopy (muco-purulent), you may want to call you doctor. Sometimes they will call out a medication. Other times, based on symptoms, they will like to see you.
