Surgery: Basically, if your pain is due to the gallbladder, there is little medical treatment other than surgically having it removed. Sometimes the attacks can be avoided by staying away from fatty foods, large meals, etc. But once a true attack occurs, qfew things are effective.

Surgery: There are several home remedies out there that you can find described all over the internet. Avoiding greasy, fatty, spicy foods can help. I find that most patients that try any home remedy or diet changes typically have recurrent symptoms at some point which leads to them to have their gallbladder removed.
