Start with diet.: Hot flashes or flushes, may happen due to decreased estrogen production. Hypothyroidism and hypoglycemia may cause identical symptoms. Start by eating the proper mix of protein, carbohydrates and fat. Schedule meals every 3.5 hours will work better that eating only when hungry. See your doctor. Don't tough it out.
