Food allergy: When eating with your fingers if you develop itching and swelling of just the fingers it is possible that you are reacting to an ingredient and are having a contact allergy to the ingredient. Washing the hands should help in addition to steroid creams. If other areas begin to itch and or swell then see a doctor quickly.
