Phobia: It worsening of a normal sense to protect personal space .It can be a fear of contamination , threat of invasion. Work with a therapist and start therapy and may need to be evaluated if anxiety is too extreme affecting daily social activities or very disabling. Yes kids do grow out of the fears and phobias but need prompt accurate and effective treatment good luck.

Sure: Haphephobia refers to the fear of being touched. That is all it means. The reason for this fear can be due to a number of things. It may represent part of an anxiety disorder, a lack of a sense of connectedness, or a history of having been abused, for example. There is no good way to describe everything that can contribute to haphephobia but i would suggust a psych or nuero eval to start with.
