Discuss with her doc: Her regular doc should maintain a growth chart that records her pattern of growth. If she is short, s/he can get some simple tests like a bone age study (xray of wrist/hand) to see how her bony maturity compares to her age. If it is truly behind it may be time for a more involved study of growth & other hormones.If she is genetically short, balanced nutrition, proper sleep and exercise help best

Endocrinology: Consult. To provide a useful hint a knowledge of the reason for her stature is needed. An endocrinology will be best able to determine if there is a problem with the hormones, a genetic tendency or a skeletal problem. Sometimes a chronic illness involving other organs might be responsible for the delayed linear growth. When reason is pinpointed the treatment will be bvetter understood. Take care!
