All about fashion: Find a cover that suits you and covers you well. I don't really think there is necessarily a "best" in this category. I've see an older brother's jacket used in a pinch.

How can I make my husband feel included in the nursing process?

Dr. Michael Pappas

Help hold and burp: I can answer this as a father as well as a pediatrician. Sometimes, with a newborn you just don't have a lot of direct contact, because mom does most of the work. But, we can be a strong second string. We can make mom more comfortable, massage our babies during nursing, help with burping, and hold your baby right after he/she has it's belly full.

How much calcium do I need while nursing?

Dr. Laura Webb
Pediatrics 13 years experience
1000 mg: Women of reproductive age need about 1000mg of calcium daily. It is best to get your ca through foods rather than in a vitamin. An 8oz glass of milk contains about 300mg of ca. Other good calcium containing foods include cheese, yogurt, green veggies, and oranges.

Why does is my baby making clicking sounds while nursing?

Dr. Michael Amster
Specializes in Pediatrics
Really don't know...: Truthfully, they do lots of weird stuff. Some flop around, some wave in the air. Mine used to make sounds like she needed to "be oiled". Clicking could be the tongue undergoing the natural up and down motion needed to nurse, or just air pockets forming under the tongue. It doesn't matter, it's a normal noise, and as long as feeding is going well, is ok.
